Volunteer Consultant
Finan started his focus on global catastrophes in the study of Evolutionary Biology at the Evergreen State College. This focus led to working at ALLFED and MIRI (Machine Intelligence Research Institute) to reduce such risks. He is continuing his career in longtermism as the Community Manager for the Foresight Institute.
