Farrah holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Hons) with a specialisation in Systems Analysis from the Arab Open University and a diploma in Arabic as a Foreign Language from Effat University.
Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems with a specialisation in Sustainability Management and Policy at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on stress nexus insecurity (i.e., water, food, and energy) and its implications for climate change mitigation and adaptation in terms of vulnerability and resilience. This includes the study of existential risk factors/multipliers, as well as security factors. She also studies ecological ethics within the context of agroecological transformations and industrial ecology as a research assistant at the Costello Lab with the Rock Ethics Institute.
She is a 2nd Dan Black Belt Karate-ka with the Saudi Karate Federation and Philippine Karate Federation, PADI Rescue Scuba Diver and Emergency First Responder, and chef with the World Association of Chefs Societies and the Saudi Arabia Chefs Table Circle.
